Superman Returns (June 2006)

Release:
Warner Bros. set the release date for the 2006 4th of July weekend, making the official release date June 30th, 2006.

Cast:
Brandon Routh (aka "B.J. Routh") will play the Clark Kent/Superman roll. Routh's past acting experience includes the TV soaps 'Undressed' and 'One Life to Live', as well as the film 'Deadly' (not-yet-released). He beat out Ashton Kutcher, Kip Pardue and Barry Watson for the roll.

Kate Bosworth will play Lois Lane.

Kevin Spacey will play Lex Luthor.

Marlon Brando will play Jor-El (Superman/Clark Kent/Kal-El's biological father).

Director:
Bryan Singer will direct. Singers directorial experience includes 'The Usual Suspects', 'X-Men', 'X2: X-Men United', and 'Apt Pupil'.
