Lost - New episode to be titled “The 23rd Psalm”

The next new episode of ABC's Lost will be called “The 23rd Psalm” and will not air in the US until Wednesday Jan 11, 2006

This episode will shed more light on why Eko took a mysterious 40-day vow of silence, and possibly information on his stick.

According to readers at TV.com:

The episode's title alludes to the 23rd Psalm found in the Old Testament of the Bible. It describes depending on God through the struggle with death. In a direct reference to Eko, it mentions a "rod" and "staff" which provides comfort; Eko's staff has been his constant companion on the island.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
...I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;
...Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me."
