Serenity - extended scene posted on SCIFI site

The SCIFI Channel has posted an extended scene from the upcoming DVD release of Joss Whedon's SCIFI movie Serenity. Serenity is a space western of sorts, based on Joss Whedon's short lived television series Firefly.

Although Joss Whedon is best known for his smash hit SCIFI TV series Buffy and Angel, I would contend that the Firefly series and Serenity movie are his best works. In the short time the Firefly series aired the characters became much deeper and more well developed than the Buffy and Angel characters ever did.

So, if you missed Serenity in the theaters, or God forbid, missed the Firefly series on FOX, the are both worth checking out on DVD.
