Sith Rule 2005 - Star Wars Episode III tops the box office in 05

Against some very stiff competition, Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith was the top-grossing movie at the box office in 2005, earning $380 million in in the domestic box office alone.

Other top-grossing films of 2005 year included Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Batman Begins, Madagascar and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
