The Final 2 episodes of NBC's SURFACE

Ok, so I know I said I was going to "scratch surface" off of my Tivo season pass list but...

After a painfully slow start, Surface has really picked it up a notch or two, and yes, it has grown on me a bit. Unfortunately, it seems it may have taken bad ratings and rumors of the shows potentially pending cancellation to force the writing staff to reveal a few secrets in preparation for a short wrap to the season to make the show more interesting.

Midway through the season the clues and answers we were all waiting for started coming much faster than before, and an interesting story (we at lease interesting to me) finally started to emerge. But is it too late?

According to entertainment president Kevin Reilly, NBC has yet to make a decision on the future of scifi drama Surface.

The series is set to wrap in the US on February 6 following "2 final episodes" that will bring "semi-closure" to the ongoing storyline. In an informal interview Reilly says:
I think it's creative, it's got a very loyal audience. We'll reassess in May, and we'll look at the rest of the product, but no decision [on the future of Surface] is made right now one way or the other.

I, for one, hope they continue the series (I know, big shocker), I mean after all; a boy and his monster, conspiracy, murdering scientists, the fountain of youth (maybe?)... whats not to like?
