Galactica's Sackhoff stars in the upcoming SciFi movie The Last Sentinel

In an interview with the SciFi Channel, Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck), discussed her roll as a beautiful but dangerous resistance fighter in the upcoming futuristic SciFi movie The Last Sentinel.

Her character, called only "Girl", is a member of a resistance cell in a dystopian (as in the opposite of Utopian) future where drone soldiers have taken over the world. Sackhoff sais of her character:

“She's one of the resistance fighters. I basically just get beat up the whole movie. I get beat up, and I get to have some sex. So, I'm good. Very similar, like I said, it's so similar to Galactica, it's disgusting.”… “What a challenge, though, to take two characters who are on paper very similar and make them different”

Sackhoff begins her work on The Last Sentinel this month in Los Angeles while on a short break before Galactica resumes filming for its upcoming third season.
