Actor Brent Spiner, born February 2 1949 in Houston Texas, is 57 today.

Best known for his roll as Lt. Commander Data on a little series titled Star Trek: The Next Generation (and a string of TNG movies). More recently played Dr. Nigel Fenway on the short lived TV series "Threshold" which was canceled mid season by CBS last November.
