The Visiting - Another remake of clasic SciFi horror film

This summer Nicole Kidman will star in yet another remake of clasic SciFi horror film Invasion of the Body Snatchers called The Visiting.

The Visiting, origionally slated to be called Invasion until a hit TV show snatched (pun intended) the title out from under it, will tell the story of a mysterious epidemic that alters the behavior of human beings. When a psychiatrist (Nicole Kidman), discovers that the epidemic’s origins are extraterrestrial, she must fight to protect her son, who may hold the key to stopping the escalating invasion.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers was originally filmed in 1956 in a fear-filled era of communism and McCarthyism, and the Scifi horror became an instant classic. There have been at least two other reincarnations of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, one in 1978 and another in 1993, the latter titled simply BodySnatchers.
